About us

From the Division of Operation and Maintenance Engineering at Luleå University of Technology

We develop methodologies, models, and tools to ensure system dependability and efficient maintenance. As a multidisciplinary field, we collaborate with global research groups and secure funding from EU and Swedish agencies like VINNOVA and SSF.

The division launched the International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management, published by Springer, and established the eMaintenance Labs at the university campus in Luleå and at LKAB in Kiruna, along with a Condition Monitoring Lab. With expertise in big data, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, we work closely with industry and academia to enhance system reliability and create value through effective maintenance.
